In Year 9 we embark upon GCSE Religious Studies. Currently students are taught the Full GCSE content over three years. This allows students the opportunities to develop their understanding of the topics and also mature in their exam style.
The students study two main world religions as well as four ethical themes. Students will be challenged with questions about beliefs, values, meaning, purpose and truth enabling them to develop their own minds about religious issues. This course helps to empower our students about the world we live in as well as assisting them to develop analytical and critical thinking skills.
