Geography is a subject enjoyed within the Lower School and as a result many Year 9 pupils opt for the GCSE Geography course. Years 10 and 11 study the OCR B GCSE Geography syllabus. The modules encompass many aspects of physical and human geography such as: Global Hazards, Changing Climate, Distinctive Landscapes, Urban Futures, Dynamic Development and the UK in the 21st Century.
Our GCSE results in 2016 were very pleasing. 78% of pupils achieved A*-C grades and 22% of these gained an A* or A grade. This success has naturally led to an excellent uptake at A-level.
