The Curriculum at Key Stage 3
All students will follow the National Curriculum at Key Stage 3. In addition to the core curriculum of English, Mathematics, Science, Computing, Physical Education and Religious Education, students will study Geography, History, at least one Modern Foreign Language, Art, Music and Design & Technology. Students will also experience the teaching of Drama through some of their English Lessons. In some curriculum areas students will also have the opportunity to start a GCSE or equivalent course in Year 9.
Students also develop their knowledge and skills of Personal, Social and Health Education through their RE lessons, scheduled tutor time activities and Curriculum collapse days on specific topics/areas.
We believe that through the curriculum and supporting enrichment activities on offer, that KS3 students at Dyson Perrins are being well prepared for a life in Modern Britain.
