Definitions: Retained – The percentage of students who complete their main programme of study. This figure was introduced in 2016. The retention measure will show the proportion of students who reach the end of their core aim (this is classed as the ‘substantive’ qualification taken by each student, as designated by the school/college). This measure is particularly important given the raise in participation age to 18. In Applied General Subjects the Retention figure was 99% in 2016 there is no current data for 2017. In Applied General Subjects the Retention figure was 100% in 2016 there is no current data for 2017. |
